“I’ll accept no money from political action committees or lobbying groups. I believe strongly in staying independent from special interests, so I can best represent your family’s interests.”
Experience

Jon graduated from Oregon’s Linfield College with honors in 1993. He and his wife, Jen, live with their daughter, Madeline, in the Grant Park neighborhood of Northeast Portland.

After college, Jon joined Dr. John Kitzhaber’s campaign for Governor and worked eight years in the Governor’s Office, helping Kitzhaber share his vision with Oregonians. Upon leaving state government, Jon worked at Pacific Power and renewed his commitment to clean energy and protecting consumers’ interests.

He now works with the Metro Council to protect natural areas, maintain our region’s livability, and promote balanced and affordable transportation choices.
